LECLAIRE, Iowa - The towboat Stephen L. Colby sits boomed off on the right descending bank of the Mississippi River near downtown LeClaire while response crews conduct cleanup and salvage operations, Dec. 1, 2013. The Stephen L. Colby sank after hitting a submerged object Nov. 25 and response crews have been working to minimize the impact to the public and environment. LECLAIRE, Iowa - Crews for the Stephen L. Colby Response continue to conduct cleanup operations along the Mississippi River near LeClaire, Iowa as they shift to salvage operations, Dec. 1, 20313.
