BOSTON - The Coast Guard ended its search for a possible missing 16-year-old boy in Provincetown, Massachusetts, Wednesday, after he was found safe at approximately 9:30 a.m. by local authorities.
When initial reports indicated the boy was possibly in or near the water, State police officials contact Coast Guard Station Provincetown at about 7:15 a.m. Wednesday requesting a water search.
The boy was reportedly last seen at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, wearing camouflage pants and a white t-shirt while walking a black Labrador on Dyer Street.
A Station Provincetown boat crew immediately launched a 29-foot response boat small-II to search in Provincetown Harbor.
