Video Release: Coast Guard helicopter crew medevacs 3 mariners from cargo ship off Oregon Coast

A Coast Guard Air Station Astoria MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew medevaced three injured mariners from the 623-foot motor vessel Almasi near the Oregon coast Feb. 05, 2015.

The three men were transferred to local emergency medical services at Air Station Astoria for further transport to Columbia Memorial Hospital for advanced medical care.

Coast Guard Air Station Astoria, Ore., MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew safely medevacs three injured crewmembers from the commercial vessel Almasi, more than 50 miles off the Oregon Coast, Feb. 5, 2015.

The Jayhawk crew responded to provide medical assistance and evacuation of three crewmembers after he crew of the Almasi reported injuries, including chemical burns and a broken leg.
