UPDATE 7: SEARCH FOR MISSING BOATERS IN MOBILE BAY

MOBILE – Coast Guard and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency representatives are releasing the name of the deceased man located yesterday morning.

William Glenn Massey, a 67-year old Daphne, Alabama resident was recovered in the vicinity of an offshore gas platform in Mobile Bay, Tuesday.

A Good Samaritan discovered the body while fishing in the area, and alerted first responders who recovered the individual. The body was brought to Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island.

The Coast Guard and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency have confirmed this person is one of the individuals missing from the Dauphin Island Regatta.
Massey is the third victim located as a result the severe weather that impacted the area during the sailing regatta, Saturday.
Search and rescue efforts continue for the three remaining missing persons.
Media is invited to attend a press briefing on the missing boaters outside Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island at 3 p.m., today and should arrive at Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island at 2:45 p.m.
