KODIAK, Alaska — Lt. Steve Hulse will relieve Lt. Conor Sullivan as commanding officer of the Coast Guard North Pacific Regional Fisheries Training Center during a formal ceremony aboard the unit at Coast Guard Base Kodiak, Friday at 10 a.m.
Sullivan has commanded the NPRFTC since July 2010. His next assignment will be aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Bainbridge Island in Bayonne, N.J.
Hulse reports to the NPRFTC after completing graduate school at the University of Delaware where he earned a master’s degree in marine policy.
His previous tours include deck watch officer aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Escanaba in Boston and executive officer aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Staten Island in Atlantic Beach, N.J.
Hulse graduated from the Coast Guard Academy in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in government.
His personal awards include two Coast Guard Achievement Medals.
