MIAMI — Six suspected migrants, found floating on inner tubes off of Key Biscayne, Florida, were pulled to safety by the Coast Guard Wednesday.

A boatcrew from Coast Guard Station Miami Beach responded after a good Samaritan notified Coast Guard watchstanders of six men floating on inner tubes approximately five miles off Key Biscayne. A 45-foot Response Boat Medium was launched. Upon arriving on scene, the boatcrew discovered four men floating atop the inner tubes and two men were in the water clinging to them. The suspected migrants were safely recovered from the water, transferred to a Coast Guard cutter and are currently being evaluated.

All six men appeared to be in good medical condition.
