NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – A change of command ceremony was held Friday morning at Coast Guard Station Ponce De Leon Inlet in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., showcasing the full transfer of command from the previous officer in charge to the new officer in charge.

During the ceremony, Master Chief Petty Officer Michael Jensen passed command of the station to Senior Chief Petty Officer David Carrig.   

Jensen was the officer in charge for the previous four years and is leaving to become the officer in charge at Station Marathon, Fla.
